Business Casual was originally founded on May 10th 2013 as “Business Casual 87" to help give the emerging vaporwave scene another home to release new and interesting music. In May of 2014 a visual overhaul and name change to just “Business Casual” was made, changing the vision of the label from exclusively releasing ‘Vaporwave’ to releasing many electronic ‘Internet Music’ genres. Cassette releases started off all being made by hand and dubbed at home, but after the first BIZBOX in Summer of 2016 all new tape releases have since been professionally made at Duplication CA.
