Business Casual was founded on May 10th 2013 as “Business Casual 87" to give an emerging vaporwave scene a home to release new and interesting music. A year after inception, a visual and brand overhaul was made, changing the vision of the label from exclusively releasing ‘Vaporwave’ to releasing an eclectic mix of electronic ‘Internet Music’ sub-genres. In the first few years of the label, physical releases were all made by hand, but since 2016 all new and future physical releases would be professionally produced. Since then, Business Casual has diversified their offerings with limited editions on Cassette, CD, Vinyl, and more. With a catalog of over 500 Albums & EPs, releasing nearly every Friday since 2013, Business Casual has cemented itself as a mainstay of the internet music community.
